Courses


The difference between the Medical and Non-Medical subscriptions is the Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control for Non-Medical Personnel courses; all other courses are the same.

Bloodborne Pathogens is designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. This interactive course teaches you how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure, what to do if exposed to infectious material, and what your organization is doing to keep you safe.

Infection Control for Non-Medical Personnel is designed for all non-medical staff and volunteers working in the pregnancy center, to ensure the entire workforce shares the same understanding and high standards of infection control.

Study time: ≈ 30 – 45 minutes

Ergonomics is divided into two section: Workstation Ergonomics and Ergonomics of Lifting. This course provides you with knowledge that helps to ensure proper ergonomics and body mechanics to reduce and prevent workplace injuries.

Fire Safety in the Workplace explores topics relevant to the OSHA training requirement outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.38 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.39. The topics included in this interactive course include, but are not limited to, fire safety and prevention, emergency action plans, exit routes, potential hazards, safe evacuation, types of fires, fire extinguishers, responding to scenarios, and rescuing others. This course can be purchased for individual use, or for a group.

Hazard Communication explores OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard and the methods for learning about chemical hazards, including labels, safety data sheets (SDS) and the Hazard Communication Program. This course is designed for staff and volunteers who need initial or refresher Hazard Communication training.

Workplace Violence explores four types of violence that can occur in a work environment, including an active shooter event. Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, pro-life organizations have experienced more than 100 attacks. This course is designed for staff and volunteers who need initial or refresher Workplace Violence training.
